Monday June 8th
Physics Tutorials: Thursday June 11th from 10:30-12 in room 250!!

Only 10 Days left!!!
Physics: Lab exam is scheduled for June 3rd. Students have received their study packages. The final exam is scheduled for Friday, June 12th from 8:30-11:30.
Grade 10 Science: Students are still learning new topics in class. It is very important that they make every effort to be in every class for the remainder of the year.
A study guide has been posted on my website. The study guide gives a BRIEF overview of each topics as well as a couple of practice questions and answers. Students will be receiving a package of old exams to practice with as well.
Lab exam is scheduled for June 4th in class
Final Exam is scheduled for Friday, June 19th from 8:30-11:30
Ethics: The year is winding down and we're finishing off by looking at ethical decisions
Wednesday February 18th
Physics: Students are preparing to write their second forces test.
Grade 10 Science: Students are finishing off their unit on Mechanical Engineering. The test will be early next week.
Ethics: Students are starting their unit on Religion in Pop Culture
Monday, December 16th
Physics: Physics Midterm exam on Wednesday, Dec. 17th from 11:55- 2:25 in room 103
Grade 10 Science: Midterm exam on Friday, Dec. 19th from 8:00-11:00 in room 164
Ethics: Students have an article due the week they come back from the break on their respective religious conflicts.

Tuesday, November 18th
Physics: Students have started a new unit on linear motion. There will be a quiz on Monday, November 24th
Grade 10 Science: Students have a quiz on Static electricity tomorrow. Students will be beginning notes on current electricity on Thursday, November 20th.
Ethics: Students are beginning the new topic: Religions Down Through Time. In class we will be focusing on religious based conflict in different parts of the world. The first assignment is to be completed by November 24th.
Wednesday, October 29th
Physics: Students have their Graphs of Motion Test tomorrow. They will also have a small third test that will count towards Term 1 next week.
Grade 10 Science: Students have a writing assignment on PCBs due on Friday, October 31st. They also have a test on Types of Energy on Monday, November 3rd.
Ethics: Students are working on their final assignment on Tolerance. Their assignment is due Friday, November 7th.
Tuesday, October 7th
Physics: Students received their Vectors Test back today. We are starting a unit on graphing motion.
Grade 10 Science: Students have their unit test tomorrow.
Ethics: Students are working on a RAFT writing assignment that deals with tolerance.
Wednesday, September 24th
Physics: Vector Test is scheduled for Tuesday, September 30th
Grade 10 Science: Quiz on trophic levels, population size and population density on Monday, September 30th
Ethics: Students are finishing up the documentary focused on segregation. We will be discussing their themes afterwards and then a writing assignment will be assigned.

Welcome back!! Although tomorrow means no more daily sleep ins, I hope you are a tiny bit excited about this year. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and I am excited about the year ahead!
